Real Estate Stats Update for Bryan College Station - April 2012

The sales number for April were up from 2011.  In Bryan College Station, there were 7 more sales and again a strong average sales price for nearly a $4,000,000 increae in total volume sold over April of 2011.  Here is the chart of homes sales:

March 2012 Real Estate Stats for Bryan College Station

The March 2012 real estate statistics are in and the total units sold was down as expected after a rather robust January and February.  One important note is that the average sales price is up from a yaer ago to nearly $179,000 so the total dollar volume of homes sold is about even.

February Real Estate Statistics for Bryan College Station

February numbers are out and they look great!  124 homes sold in February vs 101 in February of 2011.  That's a 22.8% increase over last year and the most since 2008.  Check it out:

College Station Real Estate stats update

In Bryan College Station, the units sold were up from 94 to 115, which matches January's sales from 2008!  That's a 22.3% increase over last January!  Also, the total dollar volume of sales was up from $15,242,335 to $20,634,783!  That's a 36% increase over last January and a new record for all-time January volume!  I'm very optimistic about the market and where we are heading!

Brady Brittain, third from left, received the Realtor of the Year award from the Bryan-College Station Regional Association of REALTORS. The organization, consisting of about 600 Realtors in the greater Bryan-College Station area, honored the RE/MAX Select Broker/Owner during a meeting on Dec. 1.

Also pictured are Bryan-College Station Regional Association of REALTORS Director Ed Berry, RE/MAX of Texas Regional Director Dana Tuggle, Brittain, his wife Amanda Brittain, his mother Carolyn Brittain and RE/MAX Select business partner John Byers.

Real Estate Market in Texas Recovering Well

The real estate of Texas is recovering well. Sales may be more or less comparable to that of last year but it is in fact a good sign because last year the tax credits played a big role in increasing sales. It is said that the tax credits artificially pushed sales upward and if we compared current sales to that of last year, it would mean that current sales are better.
